Favorite New Singer-Songwriter: Donald Beaman

Donald Beaman, of the Double, has been writing some great solo material. I went to see him perform at Monkeytown during CMJ, and it was a totally captivating performance. Surrounded by movie screens that projected old movie scenes mashed with psychedelic effects, Beaman sat with a guitar and mic and sang eloquent, gentle songs...Check it out on MySpace.
