The Swedish experimental pop outfit Fredrik grew out a collaboration between multi-instrumentalist Fredrik and singer Lindefelt, both of whom also worked together in an indie electronic duo named the LK. As Fredrik, they carved out a genre-bending sound that reflected its influences, a myriad blend of '60s and '70s scenemakers like Bo Hansson and Fairport Convention, as well as more contemporary envelope pushers such as Jim O'Rourke and Maja Ratkje.
