Friday Five, Hell, Six!

Been a while but BTA lives. Here are six tracks to listen to this weekend. Big fan of Nas and Damian Marley's new album Distant Relatives. "Patience" samples the Damon Albarn produced "Sabali" from Amadou & Mariam's 2008 album Welcome to Mali. The song may be one of the wisest I've heard from Nas, who doesn't necessarily speak the truth but suggests we be patient in discovering it. Damian asks why conventional western wisdom is so accepted. "Are we growing wiser, are we just growing tall?"...
