Gilmore Artist Award winner Ingrid Fliter will perform Beethoven's Piano Concerto No. 1 with Symphony Silicon Valley

The prestigious Gilmore Artist Award is bestowed every four years on a pianist somewhere in the world without any sort of overt competition.The organization that oversees it gathers tips from knowledgeable music people around the world and then sends out its spies to observe the nominees in performance. The pianists don't even know they're in contention.
