Green Day's 'American Idiot' headed to Broadway

The musical "American Idiot," based on Green Day [ tickets ]'s Grammy Award-winning album of the same name, will open this spring at the St. James Theater on Broadway, according to a New York Times report. The musical successfully debuted last fall at Berkeley Repertory Theater in the band's California hometown.
