Has Gumby Been Robbed in Shanghai?

(April 30) -- The Shanghai Expo, the biggest-ever world's fair meant to highlight China's coastal metropolis the way the Olympics did Beijing, opened today amidst fireworks and lavish performances from Jacki Chan and Andrea Bocelli. But at least one nagging question remains unanswered: Is the ubiquitous symbol of the five-month-long extravaganza a straight rip-off of Gumby?
