Spring fever fails to catch on as ‘Idol’ slides to worst numbers since ‘03 Tuesday’s edition, devoted to the music of Shania Twain, drew a total of 19.4 million total viewers, the smallest audience for a performance show since March 2003, according to the Nielsen Co.
