James Blake - Half Heat Full (Old Circular)

It seems not a week can pass without a new James Blake track surfacing for us to salivate over. ‘Half Heat Full (Old Circular)’, a b side on ‘The Wilhelm Scream’ 12 inch, follows on from where JB left off on the album – namely with isolated, reverberating vocals that drip with a desolate kind of sadness and misery floating over barely there instrumentation. Like a funeral march for the dubstep generation, it’s up there with the wonderkid’s most emotional stuff.
