Jeff Tedesco makes music portable — big-time

'I've done (work for) Barry Bonds, Dave Matthews, Elton John,' says Jeff Tedesco, an ex-computer sales executive who started the business ReadyToPlay while out of work six years ago. He 'rips' CDs to his customers' computer hard drive and catalogs them so clients can hear albums, songs or playlists when and where they want, without messing with the plastic. Tedesco has ripped over 1.5 million CDs and counting.
