Jewel heads home to Alaska for acoustic benefit

Jewel [ tickets ] will return to her hometown of Homer, AK, later this month to perform a solo acoustic show to benefit the local "Artists in Schools" program. The singer/songwriter will take the stage Aug. 19 at Homer's Mariner Theater. Atz Lee Kilcher, Jewel's brother, will open the show.
