Jim Harrington: 'Loud' director quietly turns rock doc into gem

'I follow what's interesting to me,' director Davis Guggenheim says during a recent stop in San Francisco to promote 'It Might Get Loud,' a film exploring the music of Jimmy Page, Jack White and the Edge. 'I see something that I'm really fascinated with and I go there. I probably should be more calculated about what would be good for my career, but I'm not.'
