John Legend's music mixes love and politics

'All of Me,' a hit love song written by John Legend for his wife, Teigen, was nominated for a solo-performance Grammy (but lost to Pharrell Williams 'Happy (Live).' And 'Glory,' a song he created with rapper Common for the soundtrack of the civil rights-era film 'Selma,' has been nominated for an original-song Academy Award.
