Karlheinz Stockhausen’s Helicopter String Quartet – watch live

Four helicopters with one member of a string quartet in each will take to the Birmingham skies on Wednesday 22 August. The quartet is one of the six scenes of an ambitious and daring musical production – the first ever complete staging of Stockhausen's Mittwoch aus Licht (Wednesday from Light). The production, by Birmingham Opera Company, is part of the London 2012 festival. We will be live streaming the Helicopter String Quartet here from 6.45pm.
