Ke$ha made US digital sales history when her debut single "TiK ToK," off the singer's upcoming album Animal, was downloaded 610,000 times in the week ending December 27. This was the highest number of digital singles sold by a female artist in one week, accroding to Nielsen SoundScan, which began tracking the data in 2003.
