Lancashire, UK, native Victoria Hesketh has been performing as Little Boots [ tickets ] since 2007. Hesketh's reason for using the name is simple: It's a nickname given to her by a friend based on her very small shoe size. The singer/keyboardist released her debut album, "Hands" in the UK this June, garnering the No. 5 spot on the UK Albums Chart.
