It was a year during which he saw a song he produced--Owl City's "Fireflies"--edge its way up the charts, watched Relient K's album "Forget and Not Slow Down" debuted at No. 15 on The Billboard 200 chart, and found himself collaborating with former girlfriend Katy Perry and English singer/songwriter Natasha Bedingfield.
