Lou Barlow's Back On His Own With Goodnight Unknown

Taking some time out from the resurgent Dinosaur Jr., Lou Barlow's releasing his first solo album since 2005's Emoh this fall. It's called Goodnight Unknown and he describes it as "a cross between my later work with Folk Implosion and my earlier work with Sebadoh...to my ears, anyway." We haven't heard it, so we're unable to tell you if his ears are accurate, but we do know the Melvins' Dale Crover plays drums on it (which should be pretty amazing).
