MGMT Cover The Clean

There's a good chance the majority of MGMT's core audience know nothing about the Clean. This isn't their fault. They were barely alive during the seminal New Zealand band's heyday. Still, that didn't stop Andrew VanWyngarden and Ben Goldwasser from putting their spin on the group's classic 1981 calling card "Anything Could Happen" at All Points West. Good timing: As we've mentioned, the Clean have a gorgeous new album Mister Pop out soon on Merge. Who knows, maybe this will lead MGMT's minions ...
