Menswear designer John Varvatos brings blue-collar viewpoint to 'Fashion Star'

Fashion magnate John Varvatos isn't interested in knock-offs. When first approached about joining "Fashion Star," the Allen Park-raised menswear designer didn't see a reality TV competition in his wheelhouse. He built his fashion house by combining his blue-collar work ethic with a passion for edgy rock 'n' roll.
