Mercury Prize Shortlist Revealed The 2009 Mercury Prize Shortlist has been announced. Awarded to the British or Irish artist who succeeds in creating the Record Of The Year, the award comes with £20,000 and a heap of press. The winner will be announced at the Awards Show in September.
