Metric hits stride at Metro

"Did you miss us? We missed you. Sorry it took so long to finish the record," said Metric frontwoman Emily Haines, midway through the band's sold-out show Sunday at Metro. A few years and outside pursuits served as a break in Metric's progress, but the band returned to Metro's stage with a seemingly renewed sense of purpose and fresh tracks to make up for its absence.
