The Made in Detroit superstar bested King of Pop Michael Jackson, British crooner James Blunt and Spanish sensation Enrique Iglesias to grab the best male pop/rock artist crown presented during Sunday night's World Music Awards ceremony in Monte Carlo, Monaco. Rock performed at the awards show, established 20 years ago to honor recording artists based on worldwide sales figures.
