NBC Picks Up Katharine McPhee Series “Smash”

Very good news for Season 5 runner up, Katharine McPhee. Smash, the pilot she shot set around the drama of producing a Broadway musical has been picked up by NBC.Besides Katharine, the new series will feature Debra Messing, Angelina Huston, and Broadway stars including Megan Hilty, Christian Borle and Brian d’Arcy James.
