New Parts & Labor “Receivers”

In October, Brooklyn’s Parts & Labor released their fourth album, Receivers, on Jagjaguwar.  Fans of their noise punk broken electronics wall of sound style might be surprised by the route they’ve decided to take for this release.  Receivers has P&L drawing out their explosive music with overlapping fields of sound giving it deep stadium sized power like Pink Floyd rather than their previous up front/in your face outputs from prior albums.  Perhaps this stemmed from P&L front men...
