I already went into detail about Luminous Night's recording process when we posted "The Ballad Of Charley Harper," but it's important to reiterate that it was helmed by Randall Dunn, who's also worked with Earth, Wolves In The Throne Room, and most recently Sunn O))). Important because Dunn brings the same dark, smeary atmospheric depth to Six Organs Of Admittance's eight new tracks, some of his heaviest -- in many senses -- to date. (Hell, "The River Of Heaven" could almost be recent Earth.)...
