In their recent Progress Report, Pete & Jof said things like "mournful" and "bleak" in reference to their forthcoming The Law Of The Playground LP's lyrics, descriptors nobody first associates with TBLLT. And here they're on about their "puppy powers" and "bags of marbles" to the stomp of their smiley indie pop, but as it goes with this band, there's a bit more to the story than childhood imagery and a happy tune.
