Noah and the Whale on Daytrotter

Unfortunately the UK’s Noah & The Whale recently canceled their US tour.  I was pretty jazzed and all that about seeing these pop-songers live.  Daytrotter was nice enough to have them into their studio to perform a modest set.  Maybe the winter chill had an effect on the group.  Their generally sunny tunes were given a somber makeover…that’s not necessarily bad…just interesting.  You can feel that darker mood all over this unreleased track “First Day Of Spring”. mp3:...
