Norful's gospel truths

Growing up the son of a minister, Smokie Norful was a talented kid who never had to travel far to be immersed in music. He remembers the children's choir and the church choir and the day his dad pushed him out front at a big gospel concert. "It was just a natural progression," Norful recalled. "But that was the day it became a different creature for me."
