A classy drummer and local hero, Leon Joyce Jr. played standards in a trio setting Saturday afternoon on the Silicon Valley Stage at the San Jose Jazz Summer Fest. Wayne de la Cruz was on organ, and multi-instrumentalist Roger Glenn was a one-man band. The three of them caressed every note, in a way you don't hear much anymore.
