Obama arrives in Alabama to view tornado damage

Press Secretary Jay Carney says Obama 'wants to witness for himself the terrible devastation from these storms.' About 300 people are known dead in the South, with 210 of them in Alabama.As President Obama arrived in Tuscaloosa on Friday to see some of the areas of Alabama hit worst by deadly tornadoes, officials across the South tried to come to grips with the grim search for the growing number of dead and the complex task of bringing relief to the survivors.
