Orchestra makes Orff a real blast

Saturday night's concert by Robert Franz, the Buffalo Philharmonic Orchestra and Chorus, along with the Buffalo Niagara Youth Chorus, showcased Carl Orff's “Carmina Burana” as the main work for the evening, with two selections from Alexander Borodin's opera “Prince Igor (the Overture and “Polovetsian Dances”) opening the program.
