Parakeet - Shonen Hearts EP (album stream)

London’s Parakeet have announced details of their forthcoming debut EP ‘Shonen Hearts’ and a set of live shows supporting The Walkmen and DIIV. Parakeet are a fuzzy, shoegaze collaborative project, consisting of Yuck’s Mariko Doi, The History of Apple Pie’s James Thomas and guitarist Jon Jackson, and this band seems to be being used as a conduit for harder riffs and more distortion than they usually use in their 9-5 bands.
