Phantom still thrills

Andrew Lloyd Webber is soon to put three companies into rehearsal simultaneously to open productions of Love Never Dies, his long-gestating sequel to The Phantom Of The Opera, in London, Toronto and Shanghai in quick succession. However, seeing the London original (now in its 23rd year at the Her Majesty's) again last week I could only see what a tough act he has given himself to follow.
