Phil Lesh, Bob Weir plot Furthur course

Former Grateful Dead members Bob Weir and Phil Lesh will hit the road with their brand-new jam-rock outfit Furthur [ tickets ] for a lengthy winter trek. The pair, alongside keyboardist Jeff Chimenti, guitarist John Kadlecik and drummers Jay Lane and Joe Russo, will begin the excursion with a two-night run Dec. 8-9 in New York City.
