Photos by Eirik Lande; Above: AnnieThe eclectic Ekko Festival returned to Bergen, Norway on September 5 and 6, with Annie, Black Dice, Booka Shade, A Certain Ratio, Free Blood, the Whitest Boy Alive, Planningtorock, and more setting various stages and dancefloors at USF Verftet ablaze. Spirits were sunken somewhat shortly after the fest, however, when a very real blaze destroyed a rehearsal complex housing equipment belonging to a bunch of bands in the Bergen scene.
