Please Forgive Me, Broken Social Scene

Oh man, this post has been a long time coming. I'm finally getting up the nerve to write about the semi-recent Broken Social Scene album, Forgiveness Rock Record. And although it feels like sacrilege to say it, alas, I do not love this record. I like it--I like a few songs quite a bit--but I can't say as I love it. It's hard to put a finger on why.
