Portland, Oregon has long been known as one of America's most indie-friendly cities, but now we know just how indie-friendly the place is. As the Portland Mercury's End Hits blog points out, mayor Sam Adams now has a portrait of Isaac Brock in his office. The Modest Mouse frontman is arguably one of the city's most visible arts figures, but still. Whoa. To put it in perspective, Chicago mayor Richard M.
