R.I.P. : Ron Asheton (1949-2009)

Looks like we lost a monster of rawk over the weekend. Stooges guitarist, Ron Asheton, was found dead on the couch in his Ann Arbor home this morning. I know I talk about them all of the time, but we can't begin to appreciate the influence The Stooges had on modern music. Their 1969 self-titled debut should be credited with bringing the feelgood 60s to a crashing (literally) halt.
