RIP: Jim Carroll

Poet Jim Carroll died from a heart attack at his home in Manhattan on Friday. Jim's ex-wife Rosemary Carroll reported the tragedy to the New York Times. He was 60. Carroll was a fixture of New York art scene in the 70s, where he rubbed elbows with artist Andy Warhol, photgrapher Robert Mapplethorpe, and Patti Smith.
