Randy Jackson strikes deal with ‘American Idol’

MSNBC is reporting that Randy Jackson has struck a deal with FOX, with less than 24 hours to go before Ryan Seacrest announces,–tomorrow at the LA American Idol auditions–who will sit at the judges’ panel for Season 10. A “source” close to the show says it’s a multi-year deal. The source wouldn’t say what took so long to negotiate Jackson’s deal.
