Randy Wood's 'cover versions' spread music across America

Little Richard tore it up in 'Tutti Frutti.' A man named Randy Wood died last month and all his obituaries prominently noted he was the man who made Pat Boone sing "Tutti Frutti." This happened while Wood owned Dot Records in the 1950s, and while that was not the only notable thing he did in an eventful 94-year life, it did deserve mention.
