Reliving Golden Age Chicago soul

The Golden Age of Chicago soul, roughly 1960 to 1975, produced countless musical giants whose music still resonates: Curtis Mayfield, Jerry Butler, the Chi-Lites, the Staple Singers, Etta James, Tyrone Davis, Major Lance, Gene Chandler, Betty Everett, Fontella Bass and more. But there were also many more Chicago artists who made great records during that era who faded away, unmourned.
