Review: Benny Golson at Ronnie Scott's

It's hard to imagine a more genial musician than the veteran Benny Golson, a man who smiles even while playing his tenor sax. And geniality was what the audience at Ronnie Scott's got in abundance this week as Golson, who is 80, divided his set almost equally between music and memories of his long life in jazz.
