Written between 1970 and 2009, the selections represented this composer's abiding preoccupation with rhythmic structures and the timbrel possibilities of percussion instruments. The So Percussion musicians '” Eric Beach, Josh Quillen, Adam Sliwinski and Jason Treuting, with guest artist Jim Munzenrider sitting in '” played each piece with tremendous verve and focus.
