River Phoenix’s Final Film Dark Blood Will Be Released After 18 Years
When River Phoenix died of a drug overdose outside The Viper Room in 1993, he was midway through production on a film called Dark Blood. The movie's director George Sluizer hid the existing footage, fearing for some reason that it would be destroyed. Now, George has recut the flick and added in some voice over, and he plans to release the film next year -- eighteen years after it was shot. More »
