Russ Ballard Might Be The Greatest Songwriter Ever [[He] Can Do Magic]

For some reason on Monday, I really wanted to hear the post-Zombies soft-rock stylings of Colin Blunstone's solo work. It didn't disappoint — "Caroline Goodbye" is my jam — but looking at the album cover, I realized that my favorite Blunstone track was written by Russ Ballard of Argent, who I remembered from his songwriting credit on "God Gave Rock And Roll To You", most famously performed in my odd little world by Petra (above).
