Sam Smith Debuts at Number One

Sam Smith has the number one album in the country: The set earned 237,000 equivalent album units in the week ending Nov. 9, according to Nielsen Music. Of that sum, 185,000 were in traditional album sales. The album is Smith’s second full-length studio effort, and was released on Nov. 3 through Capitol Records.
