San Francisco Symphony announces gangbusters 2014-15 season

It will be the 20th season together for the orchestra and Michael Tilson Thomas, starting Sept. 3 with a Gala concert featuring Bonnie Raitt and Yuja Wang. The season will put a spotlight on American composers, 17 of them, and will include a three-week Beethoven Festival. It will also unveil the experimental performance space known as Soundbox. And Tilson Thomas will celebrate his 70th birthday with a star-studded cast of guest soloists.
