After producing a "great" album in the forthcoming "Sting in the Tail," veteran German rockers Scorpions [ tickets ] have decided to hang up their instruments after a world tour in support of the set.
"We found out by, really, mastering the album just how great the album is," rhythm guitarist Rudolf Schenker, 61, told LiveDaily via telephone from Germany. "Our manager, he was there, too. He said, 'Hey guys. I have an idea. This would be the best way of really finishing a career.'
