Simon Cowell DJ Show Scrapped After Battling Will Smith for Top Credit

Simon Cowell announced in January that his production company Syco would produce an “American Idol”-type show for DJs with Will and Jada Smith's production company Overbrook Entertainment, as well as Sony Pictures Television. But, according to the New York Post, the talent show has been scrapped, reportedly over a power struggle between Simon and the Smiths.  Simon wanted top billing on the show's credits. Lawyers were brought in to "haggle".
